Before and After Care

  • First 24 hours

    Avoid touching the skin, makeup, heat, workouts, and saunas.

    First 48 hours

    Avoid exfoliants (AHA, BHA, retinol), hair removal, and sun exposure.

    Skin Care

    Use a gentle cleanser and moisturizer, apply SPF 30+ daily, and keep skin well hydrated.

  • Before Care:

    1. Treatment may not be suitable if you are pregnant, under 18, or have certain medical conditions.

    2. Avoid sun exposure, tanning, or self-tanners for 2 weeks.

    3. Ensure the skin is healthy and intact, free of irritation, breakouts, or infection.

    4. Avoid recent procedures such as surgery, resurfacing, deep peels (6 months), or injectables (4 weeks).

    5. Discontinue Accutane use as advised - retinoids, alpha hydroxy acids (AHAs), beta hydroxy acids (BHAs), and other exfoliating skincare products for a few days before your treatment.

    After Care:

    1. Treatments are performed every 4-6 weeks, with maintenance recommended every 6 months.

    2. Mild warmth, sensitivity, and light flaking may occur as the skin renews. Do not pick or disturb the area.

    3. For 24-48 hours, avoid heat, workouts, saunas, and irritating products. Keep the skin hydrated and use only gentle skincare. Cleanse after 12 hours and avoid exfoliation for one week.

    4. Avoid makeup for 24 hours. Daily SPF 30+ is essential, and sun exposure should be avoided for at least 2 weeks.

  • Before Care:

    2. A mild heat sensation and sensitivity are normal post-treatment. A cool compress may be used for comfort.

    3. Light micro-crusting may appear within 1-3 days, allow the skin to heal naturally and do not pick.

    4. For 24-48 hours avoid heat, workouts, saunas, and skin irritants. Keep the skin well hydrated, cleanse gently after 12 hours, and avoid exfoliation for 1 week.

    5. Avoid makeup for 24 hours. Apply SPF 30+ daily and protect the skin from sun exposure, tanning, and self-tanners for at least one month.

  • Before Care:

    1. Avoid sun exposure and tanning 4-6 weeks before and after treatment. Recently tanned skin cannot be treated.

    2. Discontinue self tanners 1 week prior and remove any residue before your appointment.

    3. Avoid waxing, plucking, or bleaching the area 4-6 weeks prior - the hair must be present for effective treatment.

    4. Stop active skincare or topical medications 3-5 days prior, as advised by your provider.

    5. For certain skin types, a preparatory regimen may be recommended before treatment.

    Aftercare:

    1. A mild warmth and sensitivity are normal following treatment. A cool compress may be applied for comfort.

    2. Avoid heat, workouts, hot baths, and saunas for 24-48 hours.

    3. Keep skin clean, hydrated, and protected. Use gentle products and avoid exfoliation for several days.

    4. Avoid sun exposure and tanning for at least 4-6 weeks. Daily SPF 30+ is essential.

    5. Do not wax or pluck between sessions - shaving is permitted if needed.
